In Racquetball participants hit a ball against a wall with stringed racquets. The object is to strike the ball in such a manner that your opponent cannot make a good return before the ball bounces twice. It is played on a court either inside or outside. This sport increases cardio respiratory and muscular endurance. Skill, strategy and quickness are the most important requirements of racquetball.
As a New York State Racquetball Champion, I understand the different muscles needed for the sport. My greatest strength is my speed and endurance. Players need to learn that it is not how hard you hit the ball but where you place the ball. I teach the correct strategies for playing as well as how to build endurance.
