MotoGP is the pinnacle of motorcycle racing with the world’s top riders racing 800cc prototype machines at leading venues around the world. In 2008, MotoGP celebrates its 60th year as an FIM sanctioned series.

To train an athlete for Motogp, I concentrate on the fitness level needed to maintain both the strength and endurance that is needed for a 45 minute high intensity race.  Super setting high repetition weight training with cardio to increase cardiovascular fitness of the heart and the muscles is needed.   Focusing on the core muscles to keep the body one with the bike is key.  Using all of these techniques will keep any rider, lighter, and more flexible, yet strong enough to handle the bike.
